Kansas City Chiefs sign 4 tryout players, cut 3 other players

Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

The Kansas City Chiefs roster shuffle continues.

The Chiefs, who had one roster spot open, cut three players and signed four more.

The Chiefs signed: Sam Houston State RB Keshawn Hill, South Alabama G Melvin Meggs, Colorado C Daniel Munyer, Baylor OT Kevin Palmer.

All four of these players were tryout players at the Chiefs three day minicamp last weekend. Obviously they showed enough to the Chiefs staff that they deserve a closer look.

The Chiefs cut: Pittsburgh RB Manasseh Garner, Villanova TE Earnest Pettway and Tennessee-Martin OT Charles Sweeton.

All three of these players were undrafted free agents signed to the team after the 2015 NFL Draft. The Chiefs saw these players for three days during their rookie minicamp last weekend.

Additionally, OT Curtis Feigt was waived earlier this week with a non-football injury designation.
