Kansas City Chiefs 2015 preseason schedule: Cardinals, Seahawks, Titans, Rams

John Rieger-USA TODAY Sports

The Kansas City Chiefs 2015 preseason schedule has been released by the NFL. Exact times and dates will come at a later date but this is the Chiefs 2015 preseason schedule:

Week 1: at Arizona Cardinals (Aug. 15, 8 p.m.)
Week 2: Seattle Seahawks (Aug. 21, 7 p.m.)
Week 3Tennessee Titans (Aug. 28, 7 p.m.)
Week 4: at St. Louis Rams (Sept. 3, 7 p.m.)

It doesn't appear the Chiefs have any national TV preseason games. All four of these games will be KCTV-5 locally. Find the full preseason schedule here.

The Chiefs played all four of these teams last year. They beat the Seahawks and Rams while they lost to the Titans and Cardinals. Historically, Andy Reid increases the amount of playing time for the starters in Week 1 and 2 and then will often play them into the second half in the third preseason game, which would be against the Titans.

You don't see many starters playing in the final preseason game but that one is the Governor's Cup for bragging rights to the state of Missouri (preseason bragging rights ... kind of sad actually).

This also marks the first time in five years that the Chiefs have not played the Packers as you can see in our brief preseason history below.

Brief history of the Chiefs preseason

2014: Bengals, Panthers, Vikings, Packers
2013: Saints, 49ers, Steelers, Packers

2010: Falcons, Bucs, Eagles, Packers
2009: Texans, Vikings, Seahawks, Rams
