The KC Chiefs 2015 schedule has been released. Hooray!
Now let's get down to business. I went through and did my initial predictions on all the Chiefs games. I had no idea where I would end up. I just went through and picked whether or not I thought the Chiefs could win.
I ended up at ... 10-6. Seems reasonable, no? The sports books have the Chiefs at 8.5 wins but they were wrong the last two years.
Chiefs 2015 schedule prediction
Week 1: @ Houston Texans WIN ... The Chiefs usually beat the teams they should. And they're a better team than the Texans.
Week 2: Denver Broncos WIN ... Total homer pick. This is a Thursday night game at Arrowhead. The Chiefs have never beaten the Peyton Manning-led Broncos so this is an upset pick. I'll take Arrowhead.
Week 3: at Green Bay Packers LOSS ... Tough draw on Monday Night Football.
Week 4: @ Cincinnati Bengals LOSS ... The Bengals are a tough team. The home field goes to Cincy.
Week 5: Chicago Bears WIN ... Jay Cutler will be playing so it's a win.
Week 6: @ Minnesota Vikings LOSS ... This is a real toss up for me. The home team gets the advantage.
Week 7: Pittsburgh Steelers WIN ... The Chiefs almost beat Pittsburgh last year. They finish it this year.
Week 8: Detroit Lions WIN ... The Chiefs are playing in London. Andy Reid's the better coach to handle this.
Week 9: BYE
Week 10: @ Denver Broncos LOSS ... Tough to win there.
Week 11: @ San Diego Chargers LOSS ... It's a primetime game in their backyard.
Week 12: Buffalo Bills WIN ... Eighth straight year of playing the Bills. They will be good though.
Week 13: @ Oakland Raiders WIN ... You sweep the Raiders if you're a playoff contending team.
Week 14: San Diego Chargers WIN ... Splitting with the Chargers seems about right.
Week 15: @ Baltimore Ravens LOSS ... I would consider it if the game were at Arrowhead.
Week 16: Cleveland Browns WIN ... Maybe Johnny Manziel will be playing by this point?
Week 17: Oakland Raiders WIN ... See above.
So ... 10-6?
