The Kansas City Chiefs will lose Rodney Hudson to the dark side. CBS Sports Jason La Canfora reports Hudson has agreed to a deal with the Oakland Raiders, which can't become official until the start of free agency on Tuesday.
Rodney Hudson is going to Oakland. $44.5M on a 5 year deal. Someone taking the Raiders' money.

Hudson turned down $6m a year from KC during the season. Chiefs hoped to keep him. One of top OL on market.

That's a LOT of money. There were reports that the Chiefs were making a "strong push" for Hudson, who was the top center on the market, but I can't imagine they got too close to this nearly $9 million per year offer. Hudson is a great center who deserves every penny he gets. With their own salary cap situation, the Chiefs could not give their center $9 million per year. This was simply too rich for the Chiefs blood.
What this signing does is make Hudson the new enemy. He has gone to the dark side and the Chiefs will now face him twice a year. I'm looking forward to seeing his battles with Dontari Poe over the years.
