The Kansas City Chiefs are reportedly signing on WR Jeremy Maclin when free agency opens on Tuesday but apparently they're not done yet. CBS Sports Jason La Canfora put this Chiefs free agency rumor out there:
Don't know what kind of cap magic they would be able to pull off, but Chiefs haven't given up on Darrelle Revis i'm told. NE and NYJ also in

The Chiefs liking Revis has been floated before so it's not totally out of the blue. But still it's kind of odd. Revis makes sense for the Chiefs and every other team because he's really good. But he's also very expensive which limits the number of teams who could get in on the bidding. The Chiefs are close to the cap right now and still have to fit in the reported Maclin contract as well as eventually a long-term deal for Justin Houston. Where would Revis fit in there?
Not sure what to think about this one. I can't even imagine a scenario where they could make this work.
