The Kansas City Chiefs are among the teams set to visit with free agent safety Tyvon Branch, who was cut by the Oakland Raiders this week. This report comes from Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports.
Safety Tyvon Branch remains hot commodity. Visited w/IND and is meeting with WSH and KC is scheduled for his next visit. Plenty of interest

Branch is a box safety so I assume this would be like the Eric Berry / Ron Parker role in the Chiefs defense. Parker is set to be a free agent on March 10 so I'm not sure what this visit means for his future in Kansas City. And on Berry, we don't know his future after being diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma. He remains on the Chiefs roster.
Branch signed a four-year, $26 million deal with the Raiders back in 2012. He has had injury problems since then that have cost him all but five games over the last two seasons. Prior to that, he was a regular starter for four seasons in Oakland.
