The Miami Dolphins cut receiver Brian Hartline last week and he has since been making the free agent visits. His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, joined a Miami radio station and named the Kansas City Chiefs as one of the options for Hartline.
@RosenhausSports says on @JoeRoseShow that #Dolphins, #Chiefs, #Browns and #Texans are all among the options for WR Brian Hartline.

If I were an agent with a receiver for a client, I would name the Chiefs as an option, too. Adam Teicher has more Rosenhaus quotes here. Hartline, 6'2 and 180 pounds, has reportedly had visits with the Bears and Texans. I have not heard of him visiting Kansas City, although I wouldn't doubt the Chiefs ability to make that happen on the down low.
Hartline, who had 1,000 yard receiving seasons in 2012 and 2013, isn't the answer some Chiefs fans have been looking for but he is likely better than their other current options after cutting Donnie and AJ Jenkins. An NFL Network report said the Chiefs would trade or cut Dwayne Bowe so he may not be around either.
Here are Hartline's career stats.
If I were Hartline, I would sign with someone before all those other receivers hit the open market. Counting Justin Houston's franchise tag, the Chiefs are projected to be about $2.7 million over the cap. More moves are coming...
