Defensive back Ron Parker is reportedly returning to the Kansas City Chiefs on a five-year, $30 million deal, and the response to the deal is decidedly mixed.
It's not hard to find strong opinions on both sides of the fence on this move, with some trusting John Dorsey's belief that Parker's best days are still ahead of him despite his journeyman status and the fact he'll be turning 28 soon enough. Others believe the Chiefs overpaid in an inflated market.
Here's a rundown of what some folks are saying about Ron Parker's return (including Ron).
Glad to be back in KC !! Can't wait to get back to wrk #chiefsnation

Important for the #Chiefs to keep Parker, who is basically a homegrown guy. Parker, Abdullah and Branch makes for a nice trio at safety.

5 years, $30 million for Ron Parker is about paying for the future and not the past. I like it.

Ron Parker tied for the worst Tackling Efficiency vs the run of any safety last season. Missed 12 of 36 tackle attempts. #Chiefs

I'll wait till @corryjoel or @RavensInsider has the full contract breakdown before I get bent out of shape on the Ron Parker deal.
