When we mention free agent wide receivers and the Kansas City Chiefs, folks are immediately going to bring up Green Bay Packers WR Randall Cobb and Philadelphia Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin. We've talked plenty about those players but today I want to look at a few of the top free agent receivers not named Cobb or Maclin.

Pro Football Focus released their list of top 10 free agent wide receivers. The list starts with Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant and Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas, who both will likely re-sign with their teams or get franchised. They're not going anywhere. Then there's Cobb and Maclin after that. They could hit the market but we don't know.

After that, you've got:

5. Baltimore Ravens WR Torrey Smith

6. St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt

7. San Francisco 49ers WR Michael Crabtree

8. San Diego Chargers WR Eddie Royal

9. Jacksonville Jaguars WR Cecil Shorts

10. Indianapolis Colts WR Hakeem Nicks

None of those really stand out at me the way Cobb and Maclin do but there are a couple of interesting names on here, including Crabtree. He played with Alex Smith in San Francisco which is the reason the San Jose Mercury News is writing about Crabtree and the Chiefs.

The problem with free agent lists this early is that not all of these players will become free agents. Some of them will re-sign with their team before free agency even starts on March 10.

Any non-Cobb or Maclin names jump out?
