The Kansas City Chiefs are supposed to have 60 formal interviews at the 2015 NFL Combine and they're filling it up so far with offensive linemen and receivers. It probably helps that offensive linemen and receivers were the first two position groups to arrive at the Combine. Coming soon will be defensive linemen, linebackers and defensive backs.
What stands out to me on the list of Chiefs interviews is seeing some of the highly ranked offensive linemen on there. Going by the mock drafts I've seen, Scherff and Collins could be picked before No. 18. Of course, that's what the mock drafts say ... and it's not like those have ever been wrong, right? If either of those players are available at No. 18, you think the Chiefs are giving them some serious, serious thought. And I couldn't really complain about it (long time readers know I'm down with drafting a first round o-lineman almost every single year).
Beyond that, the receivers stand out because there are a couple of potential first round guys listed -- Dorial Green-Beckham and Devin Funchess. Folks have mocked both of those players to the Chiefs with the 18th pick.
Below we have pulled together the reports of the players the Chiefs are talking to. Click the link to find the source of the report. Many of these come from the KC Star's Terez Paylor and Chiefs Digest's Herbie Teope. You'll want to follow those two over the next few days.
Also, although no running backs are listed, Chiefs GM John Dorsey said on Thursday that they met with multiple running backs. We just don't have any names.
