Chiefs fantasy question of the week: Charcandrick West or Spencer Ware?

Fantasy alert: There are indications that the Kansas City Chiefs are going to split carries between Charcandrick West and Spencer Ware.

West was the man after he took over for Jamaal Charles and he impressed with his ability to pass block and catch the ball out of the backfield, which included a number of long gains through the air. West went down with a hamstring injury two weeks ago and it was Spencer Ware who stepped in with 210 yards on 30 carries in the past two games.

Many fantasy football decisions depend on the answer to this question:

Will West or Ware receive the most touches on Sunday?

They're both expected to play on Sunday in Oakland but we don't know what the split will be.

The argument for West is that he can do everything well. He can play every snap, including passing downs, and you don't have to worry about him knowing his assignment. He has a little more experience than Ware. West also had three straight games of 20-plus carries earlier so the Chiefs clearly believe in him as a workhorse back.

The argument for Ware is that he's the hot hand and Andy Reid has shown before he will go with the hot hand. Ware has 210 yards and is averaging seven yards per carry in the last two games. You want to prove to Oakland you can run the ball and you can get physical? Ware is your man.

Will it be Ware as the workhorse with West settling in behind him? Or will West be the lead back as he was before his injury?
