For the second time in three weeks the Kansas City Chiefs have an AFC defensive player of the week. CB Marcus Peters was honored with the AFC defensive player of the week award after his two interceptions against the Baltimore Ravens last week.
AFC Defensive Player of Week 15: @Chiefs rookie CB Marcus Peters. 2nd time in 3 weeks it has gone to a Chief (Tyvon Branch, Wk 13)

Peters first pick was returned for a touchdown, which was his second this season. It added to the Chiefs lead over the Ravens while his second interception helped seal the game. This is his second big honor this week -- the other being the Pro Bowl.
Peters has had a terrific rookie season. He has been tested as much as anyone but his aggressiveness has benefited the Chiefs. His seven interceptions lead the team and are one more than the Chiefs had all of last season. There is a major difference between last year's defense and this year's and that is Marcus Peters.
Tyvon Branch was awarded for his interception return for a touchdown three weeks ago against the Raiders.
