De'Anthony Thomas hasn't appeared in a game since November 22. That could be changing this week as DAT has returned to practice.

DAT was hit by Chargers DB Jahleel Addae (ahem) and went out of the Chiefs first game against the Chargers with a concussion. That was way back in Week 11 and here we sit before Week 16. That's a fairly significant absence for a concussion, which the Chiefs are clearly taking seriously. Even S Husain Abdullah has missed multiple weeks with a concussion as did Jeremy Maclin earlier this year.
DAT's return will be welcomed. Frankie Hammond has been replacing him at punt returner but after putting a couple on the turf a couple weeks ago it's been nerve-wracking with him. DAT brings that home run ability that we hope we can begin to see.
This is just a practice and he has been out for a while so it's no sure thing that he returns this week. But it's certainly a step in the right direction.
