We have been wondering if the Kansas City Chiefs will promote a player from the practice squad and this moves suggests they might. According to a Bucs beat writer, the Chiefs signed OT Reid Fragel to their practice squad.

Fragel, who went to Ohio State, was a 2013 seventh round pick by the Bengals in the 2013 draft. He's also spent time with the Browns, Falcons and Bucs. His NFL.com stats credit him with one career appearance this year with the Bucs.
So what does this mean? One could guess that this means the Chiefs are promoting another player from the practice squad to the active roster. A good guess if that happens would be Jarrod Pughsley, who was seemingly close to making the 53-man roster out of camp.
Currently injured is LT Eric Fisher (head / neck), LG Jeff Allen (ankle), LG Ben Grubbs (neck) and C Mitch Morse (concussion). We're not sure who among those will be available on Sunday.
