And now we have numbers on Jah Reid's new contract with the Kansas City Chiefs. Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, it's a three-year, $10.2 million deal.
#Chiefs signed OT Jah Reid to a 3-year extension worth $10.2M, source said. He has a chance to make $12M, gets just under $4M in guarantees

As always, the devil is in the details and that would be $4 million guaranteed. Without knowing the rest of the details, this may not be more than a one-year deal (or more if he plays well). The Chiefs could view him as next year's starter or as depth because, as this season has taught us, the Chiefs need depth on the offensive line.
The Chiefs signed offensive lineman Paul Fanaika to a three-year deal last offseason and he ended up on injured reserve. So unless he makes the team, he may not even play for the Chiefs. That's useful context with this Reid contract.
