The Kansas City Chiefs didn't come out of their seventh straight win completely unscathed. RB Spencer Ware left early with bruised ribs, according to Chiefs coach Andy Reid.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that x-rays were negative.
For #KCChiefs RB Spencer Ware, X-Rays were negative on his ribs, source said. But he's bruised, swollen & in pain.

The Chiefs didn't give any specifics on his injury but this report reads like it's not a serious injury (says the guy whose ribs weren't bashed in). The Chiefs are at their best when both Ware and Charcandrick West are rushing the ball but it's good for the Chiefs that they do have someone like West around in the event that Ware couldn't play.
West has had about twice as many snaps as Ware in the past two games so based on that he's the lead back. Still, Ware is a bowling ball and it would be nice to have him around the Ravens this weekend. The Chiefs will update his progress before the next practice on Wednesday.
