The Kansas City Chiefs maintained a similar split between their running backs for the second consecutive week. Charcandrick West had 36 snaps in the win over the San Diego Chargers while Spencer Ware had 16 snaps. The split was 34/17 last week. West finished the game with 10 carries for 54 yards while Ware had eight carries for 52 yards. The Chiefs are at their best when both of them are running the ball well.
Ware ended the game with bruised ribs. I'm not sure how that affected his snap count during the game.
The Chiefs offense had 13 fewer snaps than the Chargers offense did but came out on top, 10-3. Albert Wilson is really solidifying himself as the No. 2 receiver after four catch, 87-yard performance that included a 44-yard touchdown.
The Chiefs offensive line was without Jeff Allen in this game. Zach Fulton replaced him and played every snap while Mitch Morse returned to play center. Donald Stephenson did not play.
