The Kansas City Chiefs lost five straight games earlier this season. Then they won seven straight games. That's unique in the NFL as this stat shows.
Chiefs: 2nd team in NFL history to win 7 in row immediately after losing at least 5 in row, joining 1970 Bengals (via @eliassports)

The 1970 Bengals were also the only team to start 1-5 and come back to make the playoffs, something the 8-5 Chiefs are in good position to do.
I'm at a loss for words to describe what is happening with the Chiefs. This team had so many flaws and it was so obvious they were pretenders early in the season. And now? They have the NFL's best defense and an offense that somehow scores a lot of points (minus that 10-point Chargers game).
This is my favorite Chiefs stat this year because it shows just how nutty this all is.
