Philip Rivers mini-tantrum spotted in loss to Chiefs

The Chargers had one of the worst stretches I can remember in some time. After doing a great job of getting all the way down to the 1-yard line by converting on three fourth downs, the Chargers were coming out of a timeout and the Chargers didn't get the snap off fast enough. It was a delay of game penalty.

To repeat: the Chargers were on the 1-yard line with five seconds left and got a delay of game penalty. That is a really stupid penalty.

It led to this brief Philip Rivers tantrum:

The announced blamed Rivers by saying that he didn't give his center enough time to snap it.

Then, before the next snap, the Chargers jumped early and were flagged for a false start. The Chiefs won the game, 10-3.
