Chiefs offensive line shuffle continues: Jeff Allen ruled out vs. Chargers

We knew Justin Houston and Mike DeVito would be out for the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday against the San Diego Chargers.

We did not know Jeff Allen would be out. Allen, who is working through an ankle injury, was among the Chiefs inactive players announced before the game. This is a tough blow to a Chiefs offense that has gotten better since Allen started playing. Mitch Morse is back so I assume he's back at center and Zach Fulton takes Allen's guard spot.

As for Houston, expect to see more Dee Ford, who also started last week (our review of him here). This is Houston's second straight missed game with a hyperextended knee. The Chiefs are getting Allen Bailey back which makes it easier to handle DeVito's absence.
