UPDATE: NFL Network now reports Spencer Ware will start, Knile Davis will be active and Charcandrick West is a "long-shot" to play.
The Kansas City Chiefs will be without RB Charcandrick West when they take the field against the Buffalo Bills today. Or maybe he'll play. There are conflicting reports....
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports he is out with a hamstring injury:
Chiefs RB Charcandrick West, listed as Q w/ hamstring, will not play vs. Buffalo, per source. TE Travis Kelce, also Q with ankle, will play.

But NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports it remains a game-time decision.
Spencer Ware took the starter reps for #KCChiefs in practice, but Charcandrick West's hamstring is rapidly improving. May now be game-time.

Spencer Ware taking the reps in practice is a strong sign that the Chiefs are prepared to play without West, who has been one of the league's top backs in the past month. Ware would potentially be a drop off from West ... but then again we thought that West would be a big drop off from Jamaal Charles and he really hasn't been.
Also of note if West doesn't play, Knile Davis could be active. He has been out the past two weeks as a healthy scratch but it's a good bet he'll be active if West isn't.
