The Kansas City Chiefs lost RB Charcandrick West to a hamstring injury during Sunday's win over the San Diego Chargers. According to Chiefs coach Andy Reid, West is considered to be day-to-day with the injury.

This is good news for the Chiefs. West has been great for them and a big reason they've won four straight. We'll see how West does with practice this week. The Chiefs are facing a tough Bills team next week so ideally you have both backs available to you.
It's also interesting that West's backup, Spencer Ware, flashed with 96 yards on 11 carries along with two touchdowns. It's a small sample size but he looked pretty good, too. The Chiefs have more depth at running back than any of us realized.
Reid credits GM John Dorsey and his staff for bringing in RB Spencer Ware. Happy he got a chance to show what he could do today.

The Chiefs were without Knile Davis in the game as he was inactive. I imagine he would be active next week if West can't go.
