De’Anthony Thomas has concussion, won’t return to Chiefs-Chargers game

De'Anthony Thomas will not be returning to the Kansas City Chiefs game today as he has a concussion.

DAT took a handoff on the Chiefs first drive and was hit hard by two Chargers players. The ref seemed to signal to the bench to have DAT checked out because he was hit hard. He went to the locker room and word later came out that he had been concussed.

Jeremy Maclin took over the Chiefs punt return duties while Chris Conley was in on the first kick return. Knile Davis is inactive.

DAT will go through t=he concussion protocol and can’t practice or play until he passes that. How long he’s out just depends on the concussion.
