The Kansas City Chiefs will be without LB Dee Ford who injured his back during pregame warmups. The Chiefs announced Ford among their inactive players. It's not clear what the injury is exactly or if it's a serious thing or just a tweak. Either way, it's not ideal for the Chiefs who have been trying to manage Tamba Hali's practice reps because he's not completely healthy.
Also inactive for the second consecutive week is RB Knile Davis. His only role at this point was really just the kick returner so the Chiefs have determined that he is not among the 53 best players for this game. It's still a little surprising.
The full list of Chiefs inactives: G Ben Grubbs, DE Allen Bailey, QB Aaron Murray, RB Knile Davis, LB Ramik Wilson, LB Dee Ford, DL David King.
#Chargers inactives: DB - A. Phillips CB - G. Ducre LB - K. Conner DL - D. Square OL - T. Burwell WR - M. Floyd LB - C. Law
