Take note, kids. If you jump on someone after the play, it's an $8,681 fine. If you punch someone who has a helmet on, you're not that smart AND you'll be fined $10,000. That's the takeaway from the fines in the Chiefs-Broncos game last weekend.
Chiefs OT Jah Reid gave Von Miller a taste of his own medicine and jumped on Miller after the play had ended. He was flagged for the penalty and now comes the news via Herbie Teope that he was fined, too. Miller appeared to do something very similar the week before when he jumped on a Colts player and seemed to ram his knee into their throat. So, yeah, worth it.

Meanwhile, the ejected Broncos player who said, #WellActually, the Chiefs are the dirty ones, has been fined $10,000. TJ Ward, who punched Jeremy Maclin -- does he not realize he has a helmet on?! -- has to pay up, according to the Denver Post.
