The Kansas City Chiefs opened as a 6.5-point underdog to the Denver Broncos and then the line shifted to seven and now it's down to 5.5 points in favor of the Broncos. There are six other games with a line bigger than 5.5 points so it's close-ish.
This week's NFL picks are mostly in favor of Denver, which you would expect. The Chiefs have kept it to within one score in three of the last four games. The Chiefs have lost in Denver to the Manning-era Broncos by scores of seven and 10 points in their last two trips.
Here is a sampling of the Week 10 picks that are out so far:

The SB Nation link gives away who I am going to take this week. I just don't know how the Chiefs are going to score on the Broncos defense. I'll get into that a little later though.
A Chiefs win would mean new life for the 3-5 Chiefs. Real new life. We've been talking for a couple of weeks about the slim playoff chances that the Chiefs have but a win would breathe some serious life into that, especially a win against a proven winner like the Broncos, which hasn't happened very often in the Alex Smith-Andy Reid era (or at all against the Broncos). A Chiefs win probably wouldn't even be the most surprising win in Week 10. So, sure, it could happen.
