The Kansas City Chiefs were without LB Tamba Hali and G Ben Grubbs at Wednesday's practice, the first of Denver Broncos week. Tamba is expected to play as he has had some practice time off in order to keep his knee fresh.
Grubbs, on the other hand, is much more questionable. Grubbs missed the Chiefs London game and there is no clear indication on when he could be back. With Jeff Allen able to step in and replace him the Chiefs can handle Grubbs short-term loss. Where it hurts the Chiefs is that Allen can no longer play right tackle, which went to Jah Reid last week.
Meanwhile, DE Mike DeVito and LB Ramik Wilson are both back to work after missing time last week. They were full participants in practice. The Chiefs are fairly healthy for this time of year (except for missing their best player, Jamaal Charles).
On the Denver side, QB Peyton Manning and WR Emmanuel Sanders both missed practice for the Broncos. Both are expected to be up and ready to play on Sunday. Read more on Manning's foot injury here.
