The Kansas City Chiefs game against the Denver Broncos is starting to look a little different than it did even one day ago. Broncos pass rusher DeMarcus Ware is expected to miss the game because of a back injury while CB Aqib Talib has been suspended for his eye poke but will appeal. We should find out about the appeal this week. It's pretty clear he intentionally pulled a Three Stooges act and poked a dude in the eye though. Expect the suspension.
So how does this change things for Sunday?
@ArrowheadPride how you like our chances now Ware and Talib are out?

Those are two of the Broncos best players so it does change the outlook of this game. However, the Broncos defense is bigger than just two players. Von Miller is playing, and he's a better pass rusher than Ware. CB Chris Harris is playing, and he's arguably better than Aqib Talib. The Chiefs comparison to this is probably losing Tamba Hali and Marcus Peters. It hurts, for sure. But the defense is bigger than just two players.
I don't know if this suddenly makes the Broncos beatable but it certainly makes the outlook better for the Chiefs. I would rather face Denver without Ware and Talib than with them. The line remains around 6.5 points in favor of Denver.
