I never really questioned whether head coach Andy Reid and GM John Dorsey would be back with the Kansas City Chiefs next year but given the 1-5 start to the season there was some chatter from fans about their future. Well you can go ahead and end the chatter because Chiefs owner Clark Hunt told the KC Star's Terez Paylor that they will be back next year.
#Chiefs chairman Clark Hunt says he will stick with Andy Reid and John Dorsey for 2016, even if they end up with a top 5, top 10 pick.

Hunt: "I have full confidence in Andy and John … I think they're the right guys to lead us, not only this year, but going forward." #Chiefs

Question: So if you end up getting a top 5 or top 10 pick, would you stay with them? Hunt: "I would, I would…they’re the right guys."

Hunt fired Herm Edwards after three years, Todd Haley after two and a half years and Romeo Crennel after one year. I always thought there would be a more significant commitment to Andy Reid and John Dorsey so that they can get back to some consistency. Plus, you have to replace a coach with someone better and I'm not sure who that would be out there.
So get used to Big Red and Dorse. They'll be here for a while.
