The Kansas City Chiefs are trimming down the number of players on their injury report. After they got up to 11 players on the injury report a month ago, the Chiefs now have just four players listed.
LB Josh Mauga did not practice with a groin / Achilles injury. He came out of last week's game and was replaced by rookie LB Ramik Wilson. I imagine Wilson would be better with a full week of practice. He can competently replace Mauga if the Chiefs veteran can't go.
WR Albert Wilson missed last week's game and continues to be limited in practice with a shoulder injury. I'm not quite sure exactly what's up with the shoulder but it was enough for him not to play last week. That led to more snaps for WR Chris Conley.
TE Travis Kelce has a groin / thumb injury and TE James O'Shaughnessy has a hand injury but they were both full participants in practice so that's nothing to worry about too much right now.
The Bears, meanwhile, have a lengthier injury report. Even their punter is listed! Tough times in Chicago, man. It'll be a couple of days before we get a good idea of who is and isn't playing from this group. Cutler played last week so you can probably expect him to play this week.
Did not practice: OT Jermon Bushrod, CB Sherrick McManis, G/T Patrick Omameh, S Antrel Rolle, WR Eddie Royal
Limited practice: CB Allan Ball, QB Jay Cutler, WR Alshon Jeffery, OT Kyle Long, LB Shea McClellin, P Pat O'Donnell, DL Jeremiah Ratliff, DL Will Sutton
