The Kansas City Chiefs made an offensive line change on Sunday, replacing Laurent Duvernay-Tardif with Zach Fulton at RG. According to Andy Reid, that will likely stick next week heading into the Chicago Bears game.
"Well, I'll probably end up sticking with Zach right now," Reid said on his Monday conference call with reporters. "Again, I'll get with (offensive line coach) Heck as the day goes on here and talk to him. But right now, I'd probably tell you yes."
Fulton didn't play great but, as Reid says, he hadn't played in a while after he was the Chiefs starting RG in 2014.
"Yeah, I thought Zach did some good things," Reid said. "Again, I take into consideration that it was his first time going and playing a full game, so I keep that in mind. Can he continue to get better? Absolutely. Are there things he needs to keep working? Yeah. Overall, he did some good things."
I heard Ryan Lilja on 610 Sports today and he wondered why Jeff Allen isn't part of the offensive line. I wonder that too.
