No team is a bigger favorite heading into Week 5 than the Kansas City Chiefs.
Wait, what?
Yes, the Chiefs are huge favorites over the Chicago Bears, who visit Arrowhead Stadium in Week 5. One outlet has the Chiefs as an 11-point favorite, which is a big line in the NFL. A few others have the Chiefs as 10-point favorites. It marks the biggest line in Week 5 (so far - not all the lines are posted).
The Chiefs were only a 4-point underdog agains the unbeaten Bengals so clearly some folks believe they're better than their 1-3 record indicates.
This Bears game will be a good test for the Chiefs. If they win, it shows they can still beat bad teams which is enough to be flirting with .500 and a playoff berth if things go well (yes, even after a 1-3 start). If they lose, it shows the Chiefs problems are probably worse than we thought. It would be incredibly deflating to see them lose to Chicago.
The Chiefs are 1-3. The road back to respectability begins Sunday against Chicago.
