Is Charcandrick West the Chiefs No. 2 running back ahead of Knile Davis?

At some point in the Kansas City Chiefs past two games you've probably caught yourself saying: Where is Knile Davis?

He is listed as the Chiefs second running back on the depth chart but he has not recorded an offensive snap since Week 2. In these past two weeks it's been Charcandrick West with the second running back snaps.

Soo, is Charcandrick West now the No. 2 back?

I wondered if Davis was injured but he wasn't listed on the injury report and he was returning kicks. It doesn't appear to be an injury thing. Andy Reid said after the game they have "full confidence" in Davis.

The Chiefs second running back doesn't play a whole lot anyway because Jamaal Charles is Jamaal Charles but it's a little surprising to me that Davis hasn't seen a snap, let alone a carry, in two weeks.

Davis has had his issues with pass protection before so I am guessing that's factoring in here. While Davis worked on his pass catching skills this offseason, it's possible the Chiefs think West is a better option on passing downs, not only for pass blocking but also for catching passes out of the backfield.

This is something to monitor in the coming weeks.
