Chiefs remaining schedule makes you want to believe they can rebound

Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

The Kansas City Chiefs are 2-5 after their first seven games. That's not good! What's interesting to look at now is how their schedule opens up in the second half of the season.

The Chiefs played three games in the first seven against opponents that are still unbeaten: Broncos, Packers, Bengals. They face just one team with a winning record in their final nine games.

I say this not to tease you and act like the Chiefs will come back from this. They probably won't because they dug themselves in such a hole. Only four teams in NFL history have made the playoffs after a 2-5 start. The odds are against them.

Looking at the Chiefs remaining schedule, it makes me at least wonder what's possible this season. Can the Chiefs dig themselves out and make this a respectable season?
