Chiefs offensive line changes: Eric Fisher back to LT, Jeff Allen to RT

John Rieger-USA TODAY Sports

It took way too long but Jeff Allen is back in the Kansas City Chiefs starting lineup. At least for now.

The Chiefs tweaked their offensive line for the Steelers game with a few notable changes.

First, Eric Fisher is moving from right to left tackle. Fisher was "demoted" at the start of the season when he was moved to the right side but since then he has been arguably the Chiefs best offensive lineman. With Donald Stephenson struggling, this was probably the right move to make.

Second, as the Fisher news indicates, Stephenson has been benched.

Third, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif is back at right guard to replace Zach Fulton, who was brought in a few weeks ago to replace LDT.

Fourth, JEFF ALLEN!!! I'm not expecting him to be the savior but I always thought he was one of the Chiefs five best offensive linemen. It's good we can see what the Chiefs have in him at RT.

Here's how the line looks on Sunday against Pittsburgh:

LT Eric Fisher

LG Ben Grubbs

C Mitch Morse

RG Laurent Duvernay-Tardif

RT Jeff Allen
