It's official. The Kansas City Chiefs will be facing third QB Landry Jones and not Ben Roethlisberger as the Pittsburgh Steelers visit Arrowhead Stadium today.
Just interviewed #Steelers QB Mike Tomlin off team bus. He says Ben Roethlisberger will be inactive, Landry Jones will make first #NFL start

Big Ben was injured a month ago but got in some practice this week so there was a question of whether he would be able to play. I don't know the specifics of the injury but if it was close I wonder if the Steelers looked at the 1-5 Chiefs with a big divisional game against the Bengals coming next week and decided to give him another week.
Jones did a nice job in relief last week after Michael Vick was hurt as he threw for 168 yards on 8-of-12 passing and two touchdowns. The Chiefs are slight favorites in the game.
