Update: Maclin will NOT play for the Chiefs today
We mentioned earlier that it was being reported by ESPN that Kansas City Chiefs WR Jeremy Maclin was expected to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Maclin sufferd a concussion last week and didn't practice until Friday. The Chiefs listed Maclin as questionable for this game but now we have another report stating that Maclin is going to be playing on Sunday. This one from NFL Network.
Players dealing with concussions -- #Chiefs WR Jeremy Maclin, #Skins TE Jordan Reed, Skins LT Trent Williams -- all expected to play today.

It's obviously big that Maclin is playing because it's a big downgrade to the next two receivers, Albert Wilson and Chris Conley. Wilson had a nice game last week including a 42-yard touchdown off a screen so I hope we see him more on Sunday. Conley clearly has some potential but has had a case of the drops lately. He's also made some tough catches, including one last week where he had to go up and get it despite the hit coming.
The Chiefs inactives will come out around 10:30 a.m. this morning.
