We wondered the other day: Where is Albert Wilson? The Kansas City Chiefs second year WR came on strong at the end of his rookie season but hasn't done much statistically through three games this year.
Rookie Chris Conley ended up replacing Wilson in the second half last week, which was a surprise.
As it turns out, Wilson has a shoulder injury. Andy Reid didn't indicate if it was serious but Wilson was a limited participant in practice the past two days so you'd think there's a shot he can play.
If he can't go or even if he's limited, the Chiefs have an opportunity to find out what they have in Conley.
I took a little time to watch Conley out there. Looks fast, smooth. Might as well get a shot. Couldn't hurt to shake things up.

It's still early in the season so we can't make too many judgments on Conley but more playing time is always a good thing when it comes to evaluating a player. My expectations for him contributing to the offense early in the year were pretty low but like Wilson last year perhaps he can work his way up as the season goes on. More playing time if Wilson is hurt would be a start.
