Andy Reid says Charcandrick West wasn't down in Chiefs fourth down play vs. Vikings

Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid knew what most of the others watching the game knew: Charcandrick West wasn't down.

Facing a critical fourth and short, the Chiefs ran the ball to West, who was hit behind the line but then seemed to twist out of the tackle and run to the end zone. The refs ruled West down but replays show that his knee didn't hit the ground.

Andy Reid was left saying what he's said before: the refs got it wrong.

"His knee didn't touch the ground," Reid said when asked about it. "That was the bottom line. He wasn't down. That's why I tried to challenge it. When you look at it, you can probably see that."

it came at a critical time in the game but ultimately it probably didn't matter because the Chiefs have been finding ways to lose games.
