The Kansas City Chiefs list of inactives does not include LB Tamba Hali's name so he is active against the Minnesota Vikings this afternoon. Tamba had missed Thursday and Friday's practice and listed as questionable entering the game with a knee injury, which he dealt with last season as well. ESPN's Adam Teicher reported before the game that Tamba would be playing.
The Chiefs inactives:
QB Aaron Murray, CB Marcus Cooper, OL Jah Reid, TE Brian Parker, WR Frankie Hammond, LB Josh Mauga, NT Dontari Poe
Mauga and Poe were both ruled out before the game. Rookie Ramik Wilson will likely replace Mauga at ILB and Jaye Howard will likely replace Poe at NT.
Inactive for the Vikings is DE Everson Griffen, which is notable because Daily Norseman listed him as one of the keys against the Chiefs offensive line. Life gets a little easier today for the Chiefs front five.
