The Kansas City Chiefs go on the road to visit the Minnesota Vikings in Week 6. The game will be played at TCF Bank Stadium as the Vikings get their new stadium built. The Chiefs are a disappointing 1-4 on the season while the Vikings are 2-2 on the year with wins over the Lions and Chargers. The Chiefs are a 3.5-point underdog in the game.
The Chiefs season is not technically over but it sure feels like it. The fan base is incredibly disappointed with the way the season has started because the Chiefs were in talks of making the playoffs. The Chiefs are also playing without Jamaal Charles this week after his ACL tear last week. Charcandrick West and Knile Davis will be the main backs trying to replace him.
The Chiefs will also be without NT Dontari Poe and LB Josh Mauga who are both injured. NT Jaye Howard will replacing Poe while rookie LB Ramik Wilson be replacing Mauga. The Chiefs listed LB Tamba Hali questionable for this week but it sounds like he has a good shot to play. Tamba's injury could mean more playing time for LB Dee Ford.
The Chiefs need to get a win this week if they have any hope of salvaging their season (please stop laughing). After this week, they play the Steelers (Big Ben could be back) and then the Lions.
I am predicting a Chiefs loss as are plenty of others. I found 52 expert predictions and TWO of them are picking the Chiefs.
