Andy Reid facing the worst start of his career as Chiefs visit Vikings

Mark Zerof-USA TODAY Sports

Friend of the Arrowhead Pride and Chiefs Digest EIC Herbie Teope noted this:

In his 17 years in the league, Andy Reid has never started a season 1-5. The closest he came was his first season in Philly when the Eagles started 1-4 but picked up a win the following against ... the Chicago Bears.

First, that shows that Andy Reid has been a hell of a coach in the past. 17 years in the league is a long time and the fact he has never had a start this bad says something about his past accomplishments.

Second, that shows what a disaster this Kansas City Chiefs has become. Even with the difficult schedule before them, I never would have guessed this is where they would be after five weeks. You could've talked me into 2-3 if something went really wrong or they caught a hot team like the Bengals. But 1-4 and staring 1-5 in the face?

I'm working on a post about what we thought we knew about the Chiefs heading into the season and what we know about them now. Help me out in the comments: Where were we wrong about the Chiefs?
