It's as bad as we thought. Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid said after the Chiefs devastating loss to the Chicago Bears that the injury to Jamaal Charles is indeed a torn ACL.

That would end Jamaal's season. Consider how important he is to the Chiefs offense: KC had a 17-3 lead and had the ball inside the 10-yard line when Jamaal was injured. And they lost the game.
Charcandrick West (who is he?) and Knile Davis are the primary backups that will be handling the load moving forward. The Chiefs are now 1-4 on the season and missing their best player. This is the recipe for a bad season.
