The Kansas City Chiefs signed two free agents on Wednesday -- QB Terrelle Pryor and WR Da'Rick Rogers. You don't see a lot of signings on a random Wednesday in January so I was a little surprised by both moves.
With the Pryor signing, the Chiefs are adding their fifth quarterback. I really want to know how Pryor affects the rest of the Chiefs quarterbacks, if at all. I don't think they can carry five quarterbacks for very long because there aren't enough reps to go around.
With the Rogers signing, the Chiefs are getting an athletic receiver with a few stumbles along the way. Rogers was suspended from Tennessee (led to him going to Tennessee Tech) and was also arrested for DUI in September 2014. Still, the athletic talent is there so it's an interesting signing.
Here's what people are saying about the Chiefs two new signings:
The #Chiefs now have 5 QBs on their roster - Smith, Daniel, Murray, Bray and Pryor. Too many for OTAs - not enough reps to go around IMO

The Chiefs must've spent too much time on fantasy football Twitter before signing Terrelle Pryor and Da'Rick Rodgers.

Terrelle Pryor has signed with the Chiefs. So, there's some football news. Kinda.

Ftr I think Pryor has some tools. If he's your backup you could be doing a lot worse. #Chiefs

I love the Da'Rick Rogers signing by the #Chiefs. Reid is made for that kid. Nice signing by Dorsey, potential big reward, no risk

I don't even understand why the Chiefs would sign Terrell Pryor. It literally makes ZERO sense.

Maybe the #chiefs are looking at Pryor because they need someone who can take a beating behind our OL.

For all yall that say Dorsey wouldn't take a chance on DGB, I direct you to the Da'Rick Rogers signing. TALENT wins out EVERY TIME
