Free agent WR Da'Rick Rogers tweets he joins the Kansas City Chiefs

Andrew Weber-USA TODAY Sports

Busy day for the Kansas City Chiefs. Not only did QB Terrelle Pryor tweet that he signed with the Chiefs, free agent WR Da'Rick Rogers did, too.

The Chiefs haven't confirmed this yet but he's a pretty good source .

Rogers is a 6'3, 208-pound receiver who came out of Tennessee (suspended indefinitely after failed drug tests) and Tennessee Tech. Rogers is very talented but has had other issues that have seemed to get in his way. He was in the conversation as a potentially high pick for the 2013 NFL Draft after a great Combine but ended up going undrafted. He signed with the Buffalo Bills and then later the Indianapolis Colts, where he caught 14 balls in the 2013 season. He was cut by Indianapolis after a reported arrest in September of this year.

Here's what our Colts blog, Stampede Blue, had to say about the signing.

I don't know much about him but I'm all for giving him a shot this offseason. Any free agent receivers should be looking at the Chiefs considering ... well, we all saw what happened last season.
