Cris Carter's son reportedly working out for Kansas City Chiefs this week

Free agent Duron Carter, a 6'5 receiver, will visit Kansas City on Wednesday. He is free to sign with anyone.

As reported last week, the Kansas City Chiefs are set to meet with receiver Duron Carter, who is the son of Cris Carter. Now we have a date for that visit to Kansas City, according to Matt Miller.

Duron, who was undrafted in 2013, went to the CFL and is now entertaining NFL offers with the Chiefs, Indianapolis Colts and Minnesota Vikings among those teams reportedly interested in him. He is a 6'5, 205-pound receiver so I like his size. And his family history isn't too bad either.

The Chiefs went to the CFL to find a receiver last year in Weston Dressler but that did not pan out. Dressler couldn't get on the field for the Chiefs and was cut before the season started. So for that reason, I would caution you about getting your hopes too high.

This is a nice breakdown of Carter as a receiver. And here's a highlight video of him:
