Football at 8:30 in the morning!
The Chiefs will be "hosting" the Detroit Lions at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, November 1, 2015. I'm not even sure how I'm going to cover this game. Does that mean inactives are going to come out at 7 a.m.?! Tamba Hali (if he's a Chief) will be out there warming up at 4:30 in the morning.
The newspaper folks will like this because they can easily hit their deadlines by that evening (not such an easy thing on night games).
The time of the game could affect some players but it's going to be affecting the other team too so this isn't a deflated football-type of advantage or disadvantage.
The Chiefs haven't announced yet their travel schedule for the game. This game will be at 2:30 p.m. (Wembley Stadium time).
There are two other London games in 2015 -- Jets-Dolphins on October 4 and Bills-Jaguars on October 25.
