The 2015 NFL Draft is still three months away, but most fans are chomping at the bit for some action.

On Wednesday morning, ESPN draft expert Mel Kiper Jr. went on a conference call and spoke about a litany of players and teams, including the Kansas City Chiefs. Here are some of his thoughts on players which could affect Kansas City's draft:

Q: If the Chiefs go lineman in the first, who do you see as a possibility? As a follow up, what inside linebackers will be there in the second round? (My question)

A: I think Erick Flowers from Miami of Florida would be a possibility. T.J. Clemmings would be a possibility at tackle over receiver. I don't think he'll be there. In my analysis I have him at 10 to St. Louis and Flowers at 19 to Cleveland. I have Kansas City at 18 taking Beckham. At inside linebacker is Benardrick McKinney ... Denzel Perryman is a second round pick. I think McKinney goes in the first and Perryman in the second. I think maybe Kendricks in the third or fourth round. If you go lineman in the first you can take an inside linebacker in the second or third round.

Q: Thoughts on West Virginia WR Kevin White?

A: He has the size and he can high-point the ball and go get it. He has a few drops but had a lot of balls go his way. I think he's the third best receiver in the draft behind Amari Cooper of Alabama and DeVante Parker of Louisville. I have him going to the San Francisco 49ers at 15th. ... A little more consistency is needed but he has a lot of talent.

Q: How do you see Eric Kendricks of UCLA?

A: Kendricks is a real good football player, let's just get that out of the way. He can cover exceptionally well and that will help him at the NFL level. I have him as the fourth-best inside linebacker.

Q: Dorial Green-Beckham missed the whole 2014 season. How much does that matter?

A: Oh it matters, because a year of inactivity is a major concern. He has off-the-field issues but he has unbelievable ability. With his skill set and physical prowess, if he played this year he would have been a top five pick. I have him going to Kansas City at 18. They did not have a receiver catch a touchdown and didn't take a receiver last year. I think depending on his physical workouts, which I think will be fantastic, he will be in the first-round discussion and at worst the second.

Q: What are your thoughts on Green-Beckham, and how the board might be the for the Chiefs regarding receivers?

A: Well with a year away, off-the-field issues, they factor in but talent usually wins out. I have Cooper, Parker and White all going in the top 15. With (Jaelen) Strong, it depends on how he runs ... Sammie Coates could also be in the mix.

Q: The Chiefs have a need on the offensive line. Could they go there in the first round?

A: Yeah they could, right tackle is a need area. I don't think T.J. Clemmings of Pittsburgh will be there when they pick. I have him going to St. Louis at 10. If he's there I think it's tough to overlook him because of wide receiver depth. They could take one in the second, one in the fifth and one late. ... If Dwayne Bowe moves on I think it impacts you. Maybe they take White or take a flier on Dorial Green-Beckham. ...They have to get two or three at some point in this draft.
