Eric Berry had a visit from Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, GM John Dorsey

Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

We have a brief Eric Berry update from the Kansas City Chiefs.

BJ Kissel from KCChiefs.com reports that Chiefs owner Clark Hunt and GM John Dorsey hopped on a plane to visit Berry, who has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Berry is in Atlanta going through treatment at the Emory Lymphoma Program at Emory's Winship Cancer Institute.

"We sat for about two hours with Eric and it was just a wonderful time," Dorsey said told the Chiefs website. "I just want to reassure everybody that he's doing great. He looks great."

Even if it's not much, that's great to hear. Read the full update from BJ here. And here are more quotes from Dorsey here.

I know everyone wants to know more about Berry's future and whether he's coming back to the team and if so when he's coming back to the team ... but we just don't know yet. He's got a bigger battle at the moment. Once he dominates that as we all know he will, his future will become more clear.
