The last couple of 2015 NFL mock drafts we've checked out have had former Missouri WR Dorial Green-Beckham mocked to the Kansas City Chiefs. This week we have another mock but with a different receiver. The Chiefs pick in SB Nation's latest mock is Arizona State WR Jaelen Strong.
"This is another pick that's easy to do," SB Nation's Dan Kadar writes. "Strong is a starting-caliber wide receiver with the skills to get vertical - up the field and in the air."
Strong is listed at 6'3 and 212 pounds. On the season he had 82 receptions for 1,165 yards and 10 touchdowns. Since this is a post that involves the Chiefs receivers, I have to mention here that the Chiefs went ALL SEASON without a receiver touchdown. (Gee, hearing that won't get old this offseason). Check out Strong's stats here.
There were three receivers gone already in this mock: Amari Cooper (4. Oakland Raiders), DeVante Parker (12. Minnesota Vikings) and Kevin White (15. San Francisco 49ers).
This is how Kadar ranked the receivers back in November: 1. Amari Cooper 2. Kevin White 3. DeVante Parker 4. Jaelen Strong 5. Devin Funchess 6. Dorial Green-Beckham.
The video above is Strong's hail mary reception against USC. The video below is a series of highlights.
